Fall Pictures

Gabi's cute dance teacher Amy Simkins just took our pictures up Mueller Canyon. She's a new photographer but we love how they turned out. We tried to do this last fall, but it rained every blessed day we tried. I love this serious picture of Donovan--he looks so handsome and grown-up. Having pictures taken really reminds me of how fast my babies are growing up. Enjoy!

We love to go to Torrey and Boulder. This was our last camping trip before school started and it was terrific. We got rained on the second night, but the ol' pop-up came through.

My Nephew Matt Whited got his Mission Call to Anaheim, CA---He's going to Disneyland! Can you believe he waited all day to open it so we could be there? What a guy! We're so thrilled.


Me, John, Mom, Nancy, Cousin Liz, My Dad, Alan, Trevor, Matt, Taylor and Swayde and about a million BYU co-eds were there to witness it. The Texas gang viewed it by video link!

What a great time on the beach. We shared a house with our friends, the Kerrs. Jason, Kori, Hannah, Emma and Ian. We had a blast and they really showed us the town. The kids had fun and the adults relaxed. What more can you ask of a vacation?---two weeks instead of one!

We did it! We tried to do all the rides we'd never done, and a few that had scared the kids socks off. They faced their fears and we had a great time. The only snag was when Donovan and Chris were stranded on the Indiana Jones Adventure for an hour--talk about adventure!

We celebrated Fathers' Day in Style--at Midevil Times Dinner Theatre

What a trip! If you haven't done this, you have to at least once. You eat with your hands, the horses are kicking up dust right there in front of you and you get to cheer for your knight to the bitter end! It is not just dinner----it's an experience.

The kids and I made a fun photo montage for Dad's rock room. Turns out we have a bunch of hams in the family!!!!

The kids discovered that garter snakes do bite. They swung and climbed like monkeys and had a great time with cousins Lamar, Kaitlyn, Swayde and Breanne. The other kids in the picture belong to Jim Lewis our neighbor and my old friend.

SUE'S SURPRISE RETIREMENT PARTY

Grandma Sue was very surprised when she drove past Jalyce's house on her way to lunch and voila...a party just for her was in full swing. Aunt Karen put it on, Jalyce, Misty and I helped. It was so much fun to do this for her! She's always doing it for others.

Taylee gave the party a thumb's up---I think?
